Tru-Measure Availability Reports

Available space in a commercial real estate portfolio is constantly changing. Printed lists or PDF files won't be up-to-date for long. To address this problem, Space Database has developed an integrated availability reporting solution. Availability data hosted on our Tru-Measure system can instantly update stacking plans and vacancy lists on multiple websites and web resources.

Information is managed centrally through our web application. It can be displayed in any number of layouts and it can be rendered in any format imaginable.

Here for example is availability data for a building in Toronto. First, we have availability data displayed as a table list and as a stacking plan on pages in the landlord's website at www.morguard.com:


This same content is also displayed on a set of web-pages formatted for smart phones. These mini websites contain basic building information including a building description, map location, stacking plan as well as an availability report with built in email functionality that allows for further distribution of specific suite availabilities:


All the report content is managed from within the Tru-Measure application. This is part of the same intuitive and easy-to-use interface that is used for drawing and area management. You can control all your various availability reports across an entire portfolio from one place - and updates are instant:


Stacking Plans

A popular format for displaying avialability in an office building is the stacking plan. Because space database calculates and manages all of the area in a building, we can repurpose this data to represent a building as a stack where all the suites are shown in their proportional size. We have many examples of availability report formatting and integration. We work closely with our clients and their web designers to provide solutions tailored to specific needs:

Graphic Stacking Plan for 121 King St. West

The Standard Life Centre at 121 King St. West is the flagship of Standard Life's real estate portfolio in Toronto. It is a architecturally distinct building. Standard Life and the leasing agent Colliers wanted to convey the unique appearance of the building through the graphics of the stacking plan. There was also a requirement to display not only current leasing opportunities, but also future ones. We came up with a solution which uses a graphic rendering of the building facade as a background.

Available space is indicated as colour-coded semi-transparent rectangles that hover over the available space. Since the stacking plan is completely data-driven, any changes made in the Space Database Application are immediately reflected on the stack. This stacking plan has been incorporated into the marketing site that Colliers developed for the building.
