The BOMA Toronto John Zsolt Scholarship

During John's long involvement with BOMA Toronto, John helped with fundraising to support the Children's Aid Foundation.

John was an active BOMA supporter and a long standing member since 1995. He served on the Board of Directors from 2004 to 2006 and was one of the architects of its strategic long range plan.

At the local level he was an active member of several committees over the years including Public Relations (Chair); Habitat for Humanity - Band-Aid event organizing committee; 2004 BOMA International Congress - Welcome Reception Organizing Committee; and most recently the Ski Committee.

At the International level John was actively involved with the BOMA International Floor Measurement Standard Committee.

Space Database, the company he founded, was a proud sponsor of several BOMA Toronto events including BOMA House (Habitat for Humanity) and the Annual Golf Classic. Each year for the Celebration of Excellence Dinner, John would donate the printing of the annual Children's Aid Foundation raffle tickets and he would not only sell the tickets but ensure none were left.

The BOMA Toronto John Zsolt Scholarship provides support for post secondary education for children that have required the services of Children's Aid.
